how many watts do i need in a Pa system for vocals be louder then drums in my basement.?
I am look into buying and inexpensive Pa system for vocals in my basement...me and my friends just like to play covers (sound doesn't have to be amazing just clear).
The Pa system needs to be louder than
A Drum set w/symbals (no mic)
100 watt solid state Marshall half stack
100 watt solid state Peavy bass amp
120 watt solid state Spyder 2 guitar amp
I am strongly considering purchasing a Behringer B208d for 179.99
the price is affordable and the reviews seem good.

Nicole - That powered speaker will probably do the job but you may just need to have the other people turn their amps DOWN a bit (or a lot).
