Can I use the Behringer Eurorack UB802 Mixer as an audio interface?

I don't want to spend a lot of money on a nice audio interface/preamp, and I already have a Behringer Eurorack UB802 Mixer. I currently record in Garage Band on my iMac, using the built in mic and I'm wondering if I can use the Behringer Eurorack UB802 Mixer to record and get better quality.

You can use the mixer but it is not really an audio interface. An audio interface converts analog signals (mics and instruments) to a digital signal - usually USB. You will get better results if you connect the output of your mixer to an inexpensive audio interface:
