So I want to record my band on my mac. What do I need?
I want to record a full band at the same time and individually each member Mic'd on their own track so thats 2 Guitar Amps one Bass Amp, Vox and Drums and maybe even a Midi Synth, I also need to be able to playback and mix said tracks. I know I need an M audio Interface but what kind do I look for for my kind of recording? and can I mix directly on my computer or use a Mixing board? what program/s should I use? Its all so confusing
