What software is good for home music production?
I'm looking to set up my laptop with some good software that I can use to record myself and friends singing and playing various styles of music. But my main goal is getting into the DJ techno scene. What software and/or equipment would you recommend for myself a long time musician looking to self produce my music for self expression? not trying to make it big or anything.
