Power Supply for Tascam DP008?
Hi,
I'm looking for a power adaptor for this unit. The recommended one by Tascam is a TASCAM PS-P520 5V adaptor. I've searched around and the official tascam model looks different than the other models on eBay.
What would I need to buy? Would a generic adaptor be OK?

This is a Universal input 5Vdc 2.5 A output at 12.5 Watts. As long as you have this spec and a matching barrel plug that plugs into your device it should work. I saw some Tascams on ebay and they are expensive. A different brand will be less expensive and you might find one that will deliver better power for less price.
