Mac or Windows Desktop?
I am planning to buy a new pc but I am really confused. I am working with music engineering and recording. Most of us prefer to work with Mac but I am ok with windows as well as I used to work in my old laptop. I know that there are some advantages on Mac especially if you want to work with music recording programs but Mac is twice more expensive than Windows.
My first option (Mac) is this http://www.apple.com/uk/imac/design.html the 21.5-inch screen. This costs about 900pounds (1300 dollars approximately). Should I invest on that or it is more advisable to spend about 500 for a super powerful windows desktop? I think iMacs are really good looking, but they are still compact, great for music studios but I suppose they will have the same disadvantages as the laptops. What is your opinion? What you should do in my case?
You could always buy the Windows PC for a lot less, then install the Mac OS on it. That'll save you a lot and you'll have a Mac.
