Why is my Tascam interface so stupid?
I recently upgraded my computer and now I'm getting nasty and scratches appear when no output through my Tascam US-122 interface. My old machine, a Celeron D 900 MHz with 512 RAM and Windows XP Pro worked fine, but needed more power for the purpose CPU as a CPU upgrade to AMD 64-bit DDR2 memory play and even XP Pro (not the x64 version, this could be my problem do not think so, and I I hope not too expensive!). I do my recording using Cubase SX3 and have tried different bitrates and sample sizes and all that Jass, and have adjusted the latency (buffer-size) sliding control panel up and down and all over and still acts as if he had a sore throat. I have also tried using different drivers ASIO in Cubase and still have no luck. I adjusted the non-adjusted team and the team. I even tried re-only USB 1.0. The real kicker is that there is much noise, even if you play some mp3s of Media Player by Tascam RCA and headphone outputs. Help!
